Villa Manfredini is located in a fortunately strategic position with respect to the territories of Mantua, Verona, Modena, and Reggio Emilia, which can be conveniently reached by car via the A 22 Brenner freeway (the tollbooth is only 4 km away) or provincial roads accessible within minutes. Reggiolo is a town that was completely renovated following the 2012 earthquake, a vibrant center that pays attention to culture and events.
ART & CULTURE
Villa Manfredini is a place of art and culture: in the park, at the entrance, the sculpture "Equilibrium" by local artist Mario Pavesi stands out, while, entering through the gate, on the left side of the driveway, visitors are greeted by the faithful copy of the "Thinker" used by Federico Fellini in the film "The Voice of the Moon," the cast of which was made from the original donated by the director to the Reggiolo Municipality in the late 1980s. On the second floor, Alfonso Borghi's works, inspired precisely by Fellini's films, take center stage and dominate the ancient rooms that hosted the Romagna director in the late 1980s, during his stay in Reggio Emilia that preceded the filming of "The Voice of the Moon," the last cinematographic work of the artist's career.
